Acoustic Design

Voice Alarm systems are designed to strict Standards to ensure the pre-recorded messages broadcast are intelligible.

Words must be distinct and clear and broadcast at a sufficient level over and above any background noise. Large spaces and reflective surfaces create echoes and reverberant sound that confuses the human ear therefore reducing understanding. The acoustics of any building or structure must be thoroughly addressed when designing a Voice Alarm system.
